How Many Questions Can I Miss to Pass?
To find out how many questions you can get wrong and still pass, use this reverse formula:
Max Missed = Total Questions − ⌈(Passing % × Total Questions) ÷ 100⌉
Example: 50-question test, passing = 70%: you must get at least 35 right, so you can miss up to 15.

Multiply total questions by the passing percentage. For a 50-question test with 70% passing: 50 × 0.70 = 35 questions. You need at least 35 correct, meaning you can miss up to 15 questions and still pass.
Generally, 90%+ is excellent (A), 80–89% is good (B), 70–79% is average (C), and anything below 70% is below average. However, "good" is relative to the class average and the difficulty of the test. A 70% on a notoriously hard exam may be above average.
